Whether it is quilting, or cutting out a pattern, hemming or sewing on a button, these helpful and creative skills have a deeper significance.  Using needle, thread, scissors, measuring tape is more than meets the eye and has a story for you.


First 10 in class will receive a FREE travel sewing kit.  (we reserve the right to change method of distribution)

Sister LaDonna's Profile:

LaDonna Pinson is a woman who loves the Word of God and prayer and has been teaching the Word to young women for over 20 years. It all began with a small Bible study in her home for the women of her church, when she started to feel God calling her to a deeper commitment and she wanted to share her new insights with other sisters. Her heart is women to grow in God and to live out His Word. Presently, she shares the Word with the women of her church with a monthly Bible study at their Ladies Prayer Meeting and substitute teaches the teen girls.



She is now the Minister of Records & Finance at her home church, Calvary Holiness Church in Brooks, KY, where she has been on staff for over 7 years. Her heart in this ministry, is to take some of the Pastor's load and free him up for more important spiritual matters.


LaDonna has been sewing for almost 40 years and has grown to love the spiritual insights behind the Proverbs 31 Woman. She has been instructing women in the art of sewing for many years and currently teaches the teen girls quilting and sewing in her church's Christian school.With her business of alterations and quilting, she has developed some skills that she desires to pass on to younger women and women of all ages. Sewing can be exciting and fun but it can also be spiritual in surprising ways! Her hope is to share some of these insights and to encourage women to see the benefits of sewing in "A Time to Sew."


She has been married to the "Love of Her Life," Jerry, for 33 years and resides in Brooks, KY. Jerry has always encouraged her in her sewing hobby and business with all of the sewing necessities imaginable. But, most of all, he has been her spiritual leader and counselor.  They have 2 sons, that she home schooled, and now 5 grandchildren that she simply adores!
